Timothy Course (One Year
Bible School)2009 |
Pastor Kenn is offering open access to the
Hastings Church Bible School Curriculem to all members of
Foursquare Churches in the United Kingdom. The curriculem
includes:
Bibliogy, Understanding the Sabbath, Communion,
the Fall of Man, Redemption and the plan of Salvation, Grace,
Imputation, the Resurrection, The Person and Work of Christ,
Systematic Theology, The Second Advent of Christ, Pneumatology,
Church History, Kingdom Ministry, Priciples of Evangelism
and World Mission, Homilectics, Hermeneutics, Handling Pressure
Times in Ministry, Biblical Counselling, Time Management,
Motivation and Working with People.
The course will be held in Hastings over
six residential weekends in 2009. The cost will be £120
per student. Those wishing to book a place on the course should
contact the National Office or the Hastings Church Office
directly. The course will be held over 6 residential weekends
in 2009 (The course dates will be available soon...).
It is hoped that the Timothy Course will be available online by the begining of 2009. Please check this page regularly for more details.

Clinical & Pastoral Counselling Course
A 10 session course run by Pastor Kenn Baird
at the New Life Training Centre, Hastings.
This is an ideal course for Church leaders
& members who are directly involved in working with people
and are looking for a solid grasp of effective Pastoral &
Clinical Counselling skills.
Cost £150 per student.

Church Extension Tithes
A growing number of Churches have been contacting
the National Office and requesting the opportunity to forward
their Church extension tithes by means of bank transfer. The
National Office is pleased to offer this facility to anyone
wishing to do so. Details of how to set this up can be obtained
by writing to the National Leader.
Ministerial Credentials (Renewal)
The National Office would like to make all
GB Ministerial License holders aware of the forthcoming alterations
to the renewal fee for 2008 onwards. The new renewal fee (in
line with our Regional fees) are as follows,
Ordination Renewals £50.
Local Church Licenses £35.
The fees will come into force from October 2008.
As with previous years, all renewal fees will be held in our
Pastoral support fund.

Why Stand with Israel on October 5th
Dear Friends,
Please note, I am calling the British Foursquare
Family to a National day of prayer for Israel on Sunday October
5th and would like each of our Church services to incorporate
and reflect this. Please will you confirm your participation
so that I can add our numbers to the Global committment to
pray on this day.
Here is the original message from our FMI
director...
On 5 October 2008, scores of movements
and churches all over the world--among them our Foursquare
global family--will be joining in praying for the peace of
Jerusalem. As our hearts were stirred back in July 2007 during
our International Convention in the Holy City, we need to
continue holding up our brethren (both Jews and Arabs) in
prayer in anticipation of great spiritual breakthroughs in
the coming months and years…especially in view of the
imminent return of our Lord!
